The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is a proud product of South Africa’s first decade of democracy. While the size and scope of this dynamic new institution impress, the quality of its teaching, research and community engagement is what makes the University really stands out.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Tshwane University of Technology and the University of Limpopo jointly offer a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. Students enter University of Limpopo and Tshwane University of Technology as full-time learners. They spend half of each academic year at each of the two campuses, where they have full access to all academic and recreational facilities. Students are eligible to apply for accommodation at either facility and transport between campuses is provided.

Tshwane University of Technology and University of Limpopo Association of Pharmacy Students is an organisation for the students by the students. As we are attending in two universities our brothers and sisters thought it will be ideal to form an organisation that only concentrated on pharmacy students, in 2006.

TUTULAPS has since grown to be a respected and well recognised organisation within the two universities. As TUTULAPS we pride ourselves in our multicultural and very diverse organisation, which does not only cater for students academically but also socially.

We are a happy organisation that touches not only our colleagues but also our surrounding communities. We believe in giving back to the community, in time and financial assistance where we can. We are a social organisation, we believe in the spirit of socialising and spreading our ideas and knowledge in our social circumferences.

We are a proud affiliate of SAPSF, we believe in our higher structures and always strive to be one with all of other branches nationwide. We are hard workers, we are givers, we are health professionals, we are the custodians of medicines, we are TUTULAPS.
